El Dorado Solar Farm is a photovoltaic solar generation and battery energy storage system project proposed to be built n Butler County, Kansas. The Project is being developed by Hecate Energy, a leading developer of renewable power projects and storage solutions.

The El Dorado Energy Facility will be built in Butler County, Kansas, approximately four miles north of El Dorado, Kansas.

Kansas is among the ten sunniest states in the country, receiving over 200 sunny days each year on average. The flat topography of much of Kansas is also largely conductive to solar development, with significant portions of the state lying in the great central plain of the United States.

El Dorado Solar Farm will produce 500 megawatts of clean, economical and emission-free electricity, enough to power 125,000 average Kansas homes.
